DTC P026E-98: Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Performance - Component or system over temperature: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the relevant service information and check the cooling system for contamination. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the charge air cooler coolant pump circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install new charge air cooler coolant pump
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
