DTC P0521-03: Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch "A" Range/Performance - FM (Frequency Modulated)/PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) failures: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the oil pressure and temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new oil pressure and temperature sensor
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
