DTC B14B4-13: Bluetooth® Antenna #1 - Circuit open: Action
- Check that the Bluetooth® functionality is available by attempting to pair a mobile phone to the vehicle, if the Bluetooth® is working go to step 10. If the functionality is not available go to step 2
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 10
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and disconnect the Bluetooth® antenna cable from the Bluetooth® antenna
- Measure the voltage between pin 1 of the Bluetooth® antenna cable and a local ground connection on the vehicle
- If the voltage is greater than 2.5 volts, go to step 8, if not go to step 6
- Disconnect the Bluetooth® antenna cable from the front infotainment control module and measure the resistance between pin 1 at each end of the Bluetooth® antenna cable
- If the resistance is greater than 1Ω, replace the cable and go to step 2, if not go to step 9
- Reconnect the Bluetooth® antenna cable back to the Bluetooth® antenna and the front infotainment control module and perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x2020). If the fault persists install a new Bluetooth® antenna
- Check the front infotainment control module software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the front infotainment control module and repeat step 2. If no software update is available go to step 10
- Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) relating to the customer concern and follow the DTC index
