DTC C1005-77: Left Power Running Board Deploy - Commanded position not reachable: Action
- Check the correct deployable sidestep unit is installed and rectify as required
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the car configuration file includes the deployable sidestep type and that the corresponding sidestep type is installed to the vehicle
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the latest towbar control module software is installed and rectify as required
- Inspect the deployable sidestep hinge for dirt and debris, wash the step if necessary
- Remove the step plank and check the deployable sidestep front hinge for free movement. If movement is restricted, replace the deployable sidestep front hinge
- Operate the deployable sidestep motor (the motor should still operate correctly without the step plank installed). If the motor movement is restricted, renew the deployable sidestep motor. Clear the DTC and retest
