DTC B1087-87: LIN Bus "A" - Missing message: Action

NOTE:
  • Do Not  replace the infotainment master controller for this DTC alone
  • After updating the car configuration file, set the ignition to on and wait 30 seconds before clearing the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s)
  1. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step  4
  2. Check the functionality of the steering wheel switch. If the steering wheel switch is functioning correctly go to step 5. If the steering wheel switch is not functioning correctly go to step 3
  3. If the fault persists, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check and update the car configuration file as necessary
  4. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
