DTC B14AB-19: Infotainment Slave Wake-up/Enable Control - Circuit current above threshold: Action

NOTE: Do Not replace the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller for this DTC alone

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 4
Check the functionality of the rear seat entertainment, if the rear seat entertainment is functioning correctly go to step 4. If the rear seat entertainment is not functioning correctly go to step 3
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the infotainment slave controller wake up circuit and perform step 1. Check for infotainment slave controller wake up short circuit DTC, if the DTC is set refer to the system wiring diagrams and check the infotainment slave controller wake up circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller and infotainment slave controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
Refer to the appropriate service information and check the battery and charging system
