DTC B14B6-13: USB Port #1 - Circuit open: Action

NOTE:

This DTC will also be set if the USB cable is disconnected between the infotainment master controller or infotainment slave controller and USB repeater module (where installed). If the cable between the USB repeater module and the user interface panel is disconnected DTC B14A3-02 will be set
Do Not replace the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller for this DTC alone

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 4
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the USB repeater module data circuit from the infotainment master controller and perform step 1. Check for USB repeater module open circuit DTC if the DTC is set, go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 4
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the USB repeater module data circuit for open circuit. Repair the wiring harness or install a new USB repeater module as necessary
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
