- Prioritised steps to perform:
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check for Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) in the transmission control module and refer to the relevant DTC index. Rectify these Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) first
- If no Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) are present, check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the appropriate service information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality. If the condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
