B14DA-13: Vehicle Information and Communication System (VICS) Antenna - Circuit open: Action
- Check the electronic toll collection card reader details are displayed on the screen, if the details are displayed go to step 7. If the details are not displayed go to step 2
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 7
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and disconnect the vehicle information and communication system antenna cable from the electronic toll collection module
- Measure the voltage between pin 1 of the electronic toll collection module (C4, black connector) and a local ground connection on the vehicle
- If the voltage is greater than 9 volts, go to step 6. If not install a new electronic toll collection module
- Check the front infotainment control module software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the front infotainment control module and repeat step 2. If not install a new vehicle information and communication antenna
- Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) relating to the customer concern and follow the DTC index
