P2176-54: Throttle Actuator, A, Control System - Idle Position Not Learned - Missing calibration: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Ignition Off - On and wait 60 seconds prior to starting engine, adaption will be performed, if unsuccessful relevant fault codes shall be set allowing specific rectification action to be performed
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Check powertrain control module for additional Diagnostic Trouble Codes and refer to relevant DTC index. Rectify these first
- Check battery is in fully charged and in a serviceable condition using a battery tester and battery care manual
- Allow powertrain control module to power down. Turn on ignition and wait for 60 seconds. Start engine, this will allow new throttle adaption data to be stored
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes and retest
- Install new electric throttle actuator, only when diagnosed as failed
