DTC B1111-77: Electric Park Brake Enable - Commanded position not reachable: Action
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTC, then switch the ignition OFF and then ON again. Apply and Release the electric park brake using the EPB switch or diagnostic commands to get to a defined park brake position state (Applied/Release position), then check if this DTC is cleared
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for other electric park brake Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and repair these first
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the left electric park brake actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new left electric park brake actuator as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the right electric park brake actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new right electric park brake actuator as necessary
- Check the integrity of the left electric park brake actuator. Install a new left electric park brake actuator as necessary
- Check the integrity of the right electric park brake actuator. Install a new right electric park brake actuator as necessary
- Check the integrity of the rear left brake caliper. Install a new brake caliper as necessary
- Check the integrity of the rear right brake caliper. Install a new brake caliper as necessary
