DTC B1A56-13: Antenna - Circuit open: Action

Check the AM/FM radio is working by searching for any AM/FM radio stations and checking if the AM/FM source is active on the screen. If the AM/FM radio is working go to step 10, if not go to step 2
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 10
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and disconnect the AM/FM antenna cable from the AM/FM antenna
Measure the voltage between pin 1 of the AM/FM antenna cable and a local ground connection on the vehicle
If the voltage is greater than 9 volts, go to step 8, if not go to step 6
Disconnect the AM/FM antenna cable from the front infotainment control module. Measure the resistance between pin 1 at each end of the AM/FM antenna cable
If the resistance is greater than 1Ω, replace the cable and go to step 2, if not go to step 9
Reconnect the AM/FM antenna cable back to the AM/FM antenna and the front infotainment control module. Perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202). If the fault persists, install a new AM/FM antenna
Check the front infotainment control module software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the front infotainment control module and repeat step 2. If no software update is available go to step 10
