Pinpoint Test E: Check The FLEXRAY Signal/Circuit(S) To The PSCM

  1. E1: PSCM TO BCM-GWM CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Disconnect PSCM electrical connector C1CS05A or C1CS05AA as necessary.
    2. Disconnect BCM electrical connector C2BP01H.
    3. Measure the resistance between the PSCM  electrical connector C1CS05A pin 4 (PK), harness side and BCM-GWM electrical connector C2BP01H pin 51 (PK), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E2.

  2. E2: PSCM TO BCM-GWM CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Measure the resistance between the PSCM  electrical connector C1CS05A pin 6 (GN), harness side and BCM-GWM electrical connector C2BP01H pin 52 (GN), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E3.

  3. E3: PSCM TO ABS CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Disconnect ABS Control Module electrical connector C1CA01E.
    2. Measure the resistance between the PSCM  electrical connector C1CS05A pin 5 (PK), harness side and ABS  control module electrical connector C1CA01E pin 16 (PK), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E4.

  4. E4: PSCM TO ABS CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Measure the resistance between the PSCM  electrical connector C1CS05A pin 7 (GN), harness side and ABS Control Module electrical connector C1CA01E pin 32 (GN), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E5.

  5. E5: BCM-GWM TO TCCM CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Connect ABS Control Module electrical connector C1CA01E.
    2. Disconnect TCCM Control Module electrical connector C1ET73B.
    3. Measure the resistance between the BCM  electrical connector C2BP01H pin 11 (PK), harness side and TCCM  control module electrical connector C1ET73B pin 6 (PK), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E6.

  6. E6: BCM-GWM TO TCCM CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Measure the resistance between the BCM  electrical connector C2BP01H pin 11 (GN), harness side and TCCM  Control Module electrical connector C1ET73B pin 7 (GN), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E7.

  7. E7: TCCM TO TCM CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Disconnect electrical connector C1ET02.
    2. Measure the resistance between TCCM  C1ET73B pin 10 (PK) and TCM  C1ET02 pin 4 (PK) harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E8.

  8. E8: TCCM TO TCM CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Measure the resistance between TCCM  C1ET73B pin 11 (GN) and TCM  C1ET02 pin 3 (GN) harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E9.

  9. E9: BCM TO NFSM CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Connect TCCM Control Module electrical connector C1ET73B.
    2. Connect electrical connector C1ET02.
    3. Disconnect NFSM Control Module electrical connector C2MF32H.
    4. Measure the resistance between the BCM  electrical connector C2BP01C pin 47 (PK), harness side and NFSM  control module electrical connector C2MF32H pin 6 (PK), harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK GO to  E10.

  10. E10: BCM TO NFSM CONTROL MODULE CONTINUITY CHECK 
    1. Measure the resistance between BCM  C2BP01C pin 48 (GN) and NFSM  C2MF32H pin 7 (GN) harness side.

      Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

      Yes:  Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test.

      No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK Test complete, Continue with the Action list detailed within the DTC  Index - PSCM for the DTC  directed to this pinpoint test
