- Check the passenger restraints disable switch electrical connector is correctly connected and free from damage. Repair as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the passenger restraints disable switch circuit for short circuit to another restraints circuit. Repair as necessary. Clear the DTCs, cycle the ignition and retest
