DTC B1380-96: Steering wheel right switch pack - Component internal failure: Action

NOTE: To validate the repair firstly run the engine for 30 seconds and confirm the steering wheel menu switches, steering wheel infotainment switches and gearshift paddle switchpack (where installed) functions, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to confirm this Diagnostic Trouble Code is no longer set within the gateway module

Disconnect the right switchpack wiring harness connectors and apply nyogel (or similar proprietary contact grease product) to the terminals, reconnect, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new steering wheel right switchpack
