DTC B145D-19: Proximity Sensor Supply - Circuit #1 - Circuit current above threshold: Action
NOTE:
DO NOT
replace the near field sensing module for this DTC
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment inspect the status bits for this DTC on the appropriate DTC Index. For this DTC, any one of the following combination status bits need to be set for the DTC to be valid (for example, there is a "Yes" against all of the status bits listed below)
- Test Failed (Bit 0)
- Test Failed This Operation Cycle (Bit 1)
- or
- Confirmed DTC (Bit 3)
- If none of the above combinations are valid ignore this DTC (the customer may not have experienced non-operation of the near field sensing system features)
- If the DTC is valid (any one of the combinations is true) follow the instructions below
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for other door mirror sensor related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If other door mirror sensor related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) are present, refer to the relevant Diagnostic Trouble Code(s)
- If no other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) are present, inspect the left and right door mirror wade sensors harness for signs of damage and security of connections
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the left and right door mirror wade sensors power supply circuit for short circuit to ground, open circuit, high resistance. Repair or install a new wiring harness as necessary
