DTC B19FE-11: Front Bumper Center Camera - Circuit short to ground: Action
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment inspect the status bits for this DTC on the appropriate DTC Index. For this DTC, any one of the following combination status bits need to be set for the DTC to be valid (for example, there is a "Yes" against all of the status bits listed below)
- Test Failed (Bit 0)
- Test Failed This Operation Cycle (Bit 1)
- or
- Confirmed DTC (Bit 3)
- If none of the above combinations are valid ignore this DTC (the customer may not have experienced non-operation of the near field sensing system features)
- If the DTC is valid (any one of the combinations is true) follow the instructions below
- Inspect for loose/damaged connectors, corroded or backed out terminals. Repair the wiring harness using an overlay harness, For additional information, Refer to: WIRING HARNESS OVERLAY Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- If the fault persists, repair the wiring harness using an overlay, refer to DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION . Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- If the fault persists install a new front bumper center proximity camera
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- If the fault persists, install a new near field sensing module, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
