DTC P0C76-85: Hybrid/EV Battery System Discharge Time Too Long - Signal above allowable range: Action
- Disconnect the vehicle from charging station (if applicable) and power down the vehicle
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module (EPIC)/Live Data - and read parameters - Contactor Status Main Positive Contactor Output Indicated (0x4802-27-27) and Contactor Status Negative Contactor Output Indicated (0x4802-25-25). Both should be at 0, indicating that the contactors are open before continuing
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the battery energy control module for contactor-related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- If no faults are present, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Module (EPIC)/Live Data/- and select parameter - DC Link Voltage Filtered (0x494D). The voltage should be less than 60 volts. Turn on the key and make sure that the contactors are closed, then turn the key to the off position
- Re-check the battery energy control module for contactor-related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index. If no faults are present, check the voltage at the high-voltage connector to the battery (voltage should be less than 60 volts). If the voltage is greater than 60 volts, install a new electric power inverter converter. If voltage is less than 60 volts, then no further service action is required. Clear DTC and retest
