DTC B12C1-4B: Right Mirror Camera - Over temperature: Action
NOTE:
- DO NOT replace the near field sensing module for this DTC
- Allow a minimum of 60 seconds for the left mirror proximity camera to cool
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment inspect the status bits for this DTC on the appropriate DTC Index. For this DTC, any one of the following combination status bits need to be set for the DTC to be valid (for example, there is a "Yes" against all of the status bits listed below)
- Test Failed (Bit 0)
- Test Failed This Operation Cycle (Bit 1)
- or
- Confirmed DTC (Bit 3)
- If none of the above combinations are valid ignore this DTC (the customer may not have experienced non-operation of the near field sensing system features)
- If the DTC is valid (any one of the combinations is true) follow the instructions below
- Allow the right mirror proximity camera to cool
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new right mirror proximity camera
