DTC P2783-98: Torque Converter Temperature Too High - Component or system over temperature: Action
- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Check for debris blocking the air flow to the automatic transmission cooler. Clear debris as necessary
- Check the condition of automatic transmission cooling system and rectify as required
- Check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the relevant service information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality. If the condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
- Clear the DTC. Perform a road test of sufficient duration to allow the vehicle to reach normal operating temperature. Recheck DTCs
- If the fault persists, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
