Pinpoint Test F: Check The FLEXRAY (Chassis) Signal/Circuit(S) To The PSCM
- F1: CHECK THE FLEXRAY (CHASSIS) SIGNAL/CIRCUIT(S) FROM THE BCM-GWM TO THE PSCM
- Disconnect PSCM electrical connector C1CS05A.
- With the ignition ON, measure the voltage between the PSCM electrical connector C1CS05A pin 4 (PK), harness side and ground.
Is the voltage between 1.5 Volts and 3.5 Volts with the ignition ON?
Yes: GO to F2.
No: If the voltage is less than 1.5 Volts, check for a short to ground. REPAIR the circuit or REPLACE the wiring harness as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
If the voltage is greater than 3.5 Volts, check for a short to battery. REPAIR the circuit or REPLACE the wiring harness as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation. If the wiring harness is OK, Refer to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
- Disconnect PSCM electrical connector C1CS05A.
- F2: CHECK THE FLEXRAY (CHASSIS) SIGNAL/CIRCUIT(S) FROM THE BCM-GWM TO THE PSCM
- With the ignition ON, measure the voltage between the PSCM electrical connector C1CS05A pin 6 (GN), harness side and ground.
Is the voltage between 1.5 Volts and 3.5 Volts with the ignition ON?
Yes: GO to F3.
