Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the powertrain control module for ignition coil related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and perform the relevant corrective actions
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the powertrain control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new powertrain control module: Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Replace ECU
