DTC P2418-03: Evaporative Emission Control System Switching Valve Control Circuit/Open - FM (Frequency Modulated)/PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) failures: Action
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the fuel tank isolation actuator valve circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new fuel tank isolation actuator valve
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
