DTC P05B2-49: Active Grille Air Shutter "B" Control Circuit Range/Performance - Internal electrical failure: Action
- Prioritized Checks To Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the active grille air shutter circuit for
- Short circuit to ground
- Short circuit to power
- Open circuit
- High resistance
- Check there is not any obstruction preventing active grille air shutter movement
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the power and ground connections to the active grille air shutter actuator
- Check and install a new active grille air shutter actuator only when diagnosed as failed
