- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, reconfigure the transmission control module with the latest level software and retest
- Check startup battery charge and condition
- Read all DTCs and investigate any DTCs relating to startup battery voltage supply. Rectify as required
- Check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the relevant service information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality For additional information, Refer to: TRANSMISSION OIL COLOR CHART If the automatic transmission fluid condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
