DTC P0111-84: Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 - Signal below allowable range: Action

Check status of DTC's and verify they are pending or confirmed and not historical. If DTCs are historical, take no further action
Leave vehicle turned off for a minimum of 8 hours and allow to soak to a stable temperature
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check datalogger signals. All sensors should be within 20°C of each other
- Air filter temperature (at airflow sensor
- Charge air cooler temperature
- Ambient air temperature and manifold air temperature sensors
If P0111-84 is set with P0113-00 and P0100-38, check and confirm the airflow sensor is electrically connected
If P0111-84 is set with P0113-00, check the integrity of the ground line from the sensor back to the ECU, inspect the connector for signs of water ingress or damage and verify sufficient pin tension is present at the airflow connector and the ECU. Rectify any concerns as required
If P0111-84 is set on its own replace the airflow/temperature sensor
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear all stored Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Test the vehicle over 3 drive cycles (engine on/off) across varied driving conditions to confirm the repair
