DTC U0055-88: Vehicle Communication Bus D - Bus off: Action
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the High Speed CAN bus (HMI-CAN) circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Perform an ignition cycle to restart the instrument panel cluster control module
- Check for communication Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) set in other modules on the HMI CAN network
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and measure the resistance between HMI CAN high and low at the instrument panel cluster control module connector, if a short circuit is found, repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
