DTC B1026-52: Steering Column Lock - Not Activated: Action

NOTE: To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (205E). The diagnostic routine can be located on the diagnostic equipment within "BCM - ECU functions". When complete run the engine for at least 60 seconds, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) within the body control module. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be set

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the electric steering column lock control module power and ground circuits for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
