DTC B1131-07: Wiper Motor Module - Mechanical failures: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair firstly run the engine for 30 seconds and operate the windshield wiper functions at all wiper speeds, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module
- Check the windshield wiper linkage for any obstructions or mechanical failure. Repair/replace as necessary
- Check the windshield wiper motor for damage. Replace as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new windshield wiper motor
