DTC B1140-52: Engine Crank Authorization - Not activated: Action

NOTE: To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (205E). The diagnostic routine can be located on the diagnostic equipment within "BCM - ECU functions". When complete run the engine for 30 seconds, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the engine crank request signal circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
