DTC B12A8-31: Steering Column Telescope Sensor A - No signal: Action

NOTE: To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - On Demand Self Test. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be set within the body control module. Alternatively run the engine for 30 seconds and check the steering column tilt adjustment function, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the steering column reach adjustment motor position sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
