DTC B1C84-12: Heated Rear Window Relay Output - Circuit short to battery: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - On Demand Self Test. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be set within the body control module. Alternatively run the engine for 30 seconds and check the heated rear window function, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module
- Replace the heated rear window relay as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the heated rear window relay circuit for short circuit to power. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
