DTC B1C96-11: Alarm LED - Circuit short to ground: Action

NOTE: To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - On Demand Self Test. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be set within the body control module. Alternatively check the security system status indicator function, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the security system status indicator circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
