DTC B1D14-52: Interior Lights Circuit B - Not activated: Action

NOTE:

To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (205E). The diagnostic routine can be located on the diagnostic equipment within "BCM - ECU functions". When complete use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - On Demand Self Test. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be set within the body control module. Alternatively run the engine for 30 seconds and check the interior light function, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module
Lamps powered by circuit "B" (O_Demand_interior_lighting_1), glovebox, front overhead console map left/right, 2nd row dimmable cantrail lamp left/right, vanity mirror left/right, tri color ambient B pillar uplighter left/right, footwell ambient with white LED front/rear left/right, tri color trinket tray illumination, tri color ambient console front/rear left/right, tri color ambient door release/armrest/bin front/rear left/right. Not all of these lamps are installed to all vehicles, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the demand interior lamps circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
