DTC U2001-07: Reduced System Function - Mechanical failures: Action

Check and adjust the tire pressures as necessary
Check that the wheels and tires comply with the manufacturer's specification for the vehicle
Check the suspension and steering for damage
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, re-configure the power steering control module with the latest level software
Clear DTC and retest. If the fault persists, contact the JLR Technical Helpdesk. Do not replace the steering gear
