DTC B1D55-11: Antenna #2 - Circuit short to ground: Action

NOTE: This DTC will cause the warning "SOS limited functionality" to be displayed on the instrument cluster

To inspect for a permanent or intermittent fault, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment perform the diagnostic routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202)
If the fault is permanent, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and inspect the GSM antenna circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
If the fault is intermittent, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and test the GSM antenna circuit for short circuit to antenna shield/screen. Using a multimeter measure the circuit resistance between the GSM antenna cable central pin and the shield/screen at the antenna connector, the nominal resistance of the GSM antenna circuit will be approximately 10, 000 Ohms. Then apply pressure to the GSM antenna cable and manipulate the cable at the base of the GSM antenna to test for internal circuit failure. If the circuit resistance is reduced as the cable is manipulated an internal cable failure is confirmed. Replace the GSM antenna as necessary
