DTC U0064-87: Vehicle Communication Bus E - Missing message: Action
WARNING:
The PHEV battery pack casing must not be disassembled due to the risk of exposure to high voltage. Failure to comply with this instruction may result in personal injury or death.
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the missing message source control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. To identify the control module, check snapshot parameter - Network Operating System ECU Local Signal Handle (0xD020). The missing message source control module is indicated as follows:
- 8714: Battery Charger Control Module (BCCM)
- 9244: Electric Power Inverter Converter (EPIC)
- 9175: Electric Power Inverter Converter D (EPICD)
- 483: Restraints Control Module (RCM)
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the high speed CAN bus (power mode zero) circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the missing message source control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index. To identify the control module, check snapshot parameter - Network Operating System ECU Local Signal Handle (0xD020). The missing message source control module is indicated as follows:
- 8714: Battery Charger Control Module (BCCM)

- 9175: Electric Power Inverter Converter D (EPICD)
