DTC P0A45-02: Drive Motor "B" Position Sensor Circuit - General signal failure: Action
NOTE:
If available, perform the guided diagnostics associated with this DTC.
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module 'B' (EPICB) for Belt Integrated Starter Generator (BISG) related DTCs and perform the relevant corrective actions
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the Belt Integrated Starter Generator (BISG) position sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module 'B' (EPICB)/Clear DTCs. Retest. If the fault persists, raise a Technical Assistance (TA):
- Attach the Pathfinder session file using 'Pathfinder Sessions'
- Use the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) as a reference number in the Customer Comments field
- Describe primary and secondary diagnostics completed
