B115E-13: Camera Module - Circuit open: Action
- Check that the park assist camera view is displayed, if the camera display is visible go to step 7, if there is no camera display go to step 2
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 7
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and disconnect the near field sensing module cable from the front infotainment control module (C5, violet connector) and the near field sensing module
- Measure the resistance between pin 1 at each end of the near field sensing module cable
- If the resistance is greater than 1Ω, replace the cable, if not go to step 6
- Check the front infotainment control module software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the front infotainment control module and repeat step 2. If no software update is available go to step 7
- Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) relating to the customer concern and follow the DTC index
