DTC P3054-29: Park Pawl Position Sensor Signal Circuit - Signal signal invalid: Action
NOTE:
- If available, perform the guided diagnostics associated with this DTC (Gear position display warnings).
- The frequency of the parking lock actuator position sensor signal should be approximately 250 Hz.
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the electric power inverter converter control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module (EPIC)/Update ECU
- Switch off the ignition and lock the vehicle. Wait greater than 15 minutes (full network sleep cycle). Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module (EPIC)/ECU Functions/Park Lock Control Test
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the parking lock actuator position sensor power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the parking lock actuator position sensor signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the signal frequency. Install a new wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new parking lock actuator position sensor
- Raise a TA

- Attach the Pathfinder session file using 'Pathfinder Sessions'
- Use the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) as a reference number in the Customer Comments field
- Describe primary and secondary diagnostics completed
