DTC P3055-77: Park Lock/Pawl Actuator - Commanded position not reachable: Action
NOTE:
If available, perform the guided diagnostics associated with this DTC (Gear position display warnings).
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the electric power inverter converter control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module (EPIC)/Update ECU
- Switch off the ignition and lock the vehicle. Wait greater than 15 minutes (full network sleep cycle). Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Electric Power Inverter Converter Control Module (EPIC)/ECU Functions/Park Lock Control Test
- Using the emergency park release, attempt to disengage and engage the parking lock. Rotating the rear wheels may aid disengagement of the parking lock. If the parking will not operate, remove and check the parking lock actuator. If the parking lock actuator is defective, raise a TA

- Attach the Pathfinder session file using 'Pathfinder Sessions'
- Use the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) as a reference number in the Customer Comments field
- Describe primary and secondary diagnostics completed
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the parking lock actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Install a new wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the parking lock actuator position sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Install a new wiring harness as necessary
- Raise a TA
