B1115-52: High Mounted Stop Lamp control - Not Activated: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (205E). The diagnostic routine can be located on the diagnostic equipment within "BCM - ECU functions". When complete use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the diagnostic routine - On Demand Self Test and check that the DTC is no longer set within the body control module. Alternatively check the central high mounted stop lamp function with the engine running and use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check that the DTC is no longer set in the body control module
- Replace the central high mounted stop lamp bulb (where installed)
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the central high mounted stop lamp circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
