- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check starter motor cranking relay circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Check starter motor cranking relay
- Missing
- Mechanical failure
- Install new starter motor cranking relay, only when diagnosed as failed
