Trunk Release Main Switch & Trunk Release/Fuel Door Release Switch Circuit

Turn ignition off. Disconnect main switch and release switch. Check continuity between main switch terminal No. 1 (Blue/Yellow wire) and No. 2 (Red). Continuity should exist with switch on. Continuity should not exist with switch off. Check continuity between release switch terminal No. 4 (White/Black wire) and No. 5 (Red wire). Continuity should exist with switch on. Continuity should not exist with switch off. Replace switch(s) if continuity is not as specified. If continuity is okay, check wiring between ECU, main switch, release switch and ground. Repair as needed. If wiring is okay, go to next test in TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS  table.
