Trunk Release Motor Switch Circuit
Disconnect courtesy switch and release motor connector. Check voltage at terminal No. 1 (Blue wire) while an assistant operates trunk release. Battery voltage should exist when release is pulled, and less than one volt should exist when release is not pulled. If voltage reading is not as specified, repair wiring. If voltage reading is as specified, connect battery voltage to terminal No. 1 for one second. If motor operates, go to next test in TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table. If motor does not operate, replace motor.
