Section 175 (Abs Speed Sensor Rear (AWD)): Replacement

NOTE:
Replace the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
- REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT LH
- REMOVE SPEED SENSOR REAR LH
- Disconnect the speed sensor connector, and pull out the sensor wire harness with grommet.
- Remove the clamp bolt holding the sensor harness from the body.
- Remove the bolt and speed sensor rear LH.NOTE: Keep the tip of the speed sensor rear LH clean.
- INSTALL SPEED SENSOR REAR LH
- Install the speed sensor rear LH with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE: Keep the tip of the speed sensor rear LH clean. - Install the sensor harness clamps with the bolts to the body.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
- Push in the sensor wire harness with grommet.NOTE: When grommet is set to body, pull the grommet don't pull sensor wire.
- Connect the speed sensor connector.
- Install the speed sensor rear LH with the bolt.
- INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT LH
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
- CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (See PRE-CHECK )
