Inspection Procedure
- Check power steering oil pressure sensor.
PREPARATION:
- Connect the hand-held tester or the OBD II scan tool to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Push the hand-held tester or the OBD II scan tool main switch ON.
- Enter following menus: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DATA LIST / ALL / PS SINGAL.
CHECK:
Read signal displayed on the hand-held tester or the OBD II scan tool.
RESULT:

- OK: Check for intermittent problems (See PRE-CHECK ).
- NG: Go to next step.
- Check for open in harness and connector between engine ECU and power steering oil pressure sensor (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE
).
- NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
- OK: Replace power steering oil pressure sensor (See REMOVAL ).
