Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL TANK BREATHER TUBE GASKET 
    1. Install a new gasket, fuel tank EVAP tube support plate and fuel tank protector plate with the 4 screws

  2. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Install the sensor to the fuel tank vent tube set plate.
      NOTE: Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects on the connecting parts.

    2. Fix the sensor in place with the tube joint clip

      NOTE:
      • Check that the tube joint clip is inserted securely.
      • After installing the tube joint clip, check that the sensor can not be pulled off.
      • Be careful not to damage the tube joint clip. If the tube joint clip is damaged, replace it.
    3. Connect the sensor connector.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 FUEL TANK PROTECTOR 
    1. Install the protector.
      1. Set the protector onto the vent tube set plate.

      3. Turn the protector and install it securely. Then secure the lock.
  4. INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the fuel tank (See INSTALLATION ).
