Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING Intelligent tester OR TECHSTREAM (CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT)

Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3
Turn the power switch ON (IG).
Turn the tester switch on.
Select the following menu items
1. Intelligent tester - DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / METER / ACTIVE TEST.
2. Techstream - Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

Select the item below in the ACTIVE TEST and then check the CRUISE main indicator light operation.

OK: CRUISE main indicator light turns on / turns off.

NG: GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).

OK: Go to next step

READ VALUE USING Intelligent tester OR TECHSTREAM (CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT)

Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the CRUISE main indicator light.

OK: When cruise control switch operation is performed, the result will be the same as above.

NG: REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (See REMOVAL ).

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
