Display and Navigation Assembly Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ACC, ECU-IG No. 1, TV) 
    1. Remove the ACC and ECU-IG No. 1 fuses from the cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Remove the TV fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
    3. Measure the resistance of according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      ACC fuse Always Below 1 Ω
      ECU-IG No. 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω
      TV fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG → REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the F28 display connector.

    2. Measure the resistance of according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F28-10 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F28-1 (+B1) - F28-10 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      F28-2 (ACC) - F28-10 (GND1) Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      F28-3 (IG) - F28-10 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   3 

  3. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
